Shop Local, Discover Vegan Finds, & Enjoy Coffee with Friends
Start your Saturday morning by exploring one of the Cedar Valley's favorite weekly traditions before relaxing with coffee and conversation in downtown Cedar Falls.
We'll begin at the Cedar Falls Farmers Market, where dozens of local farmers, bakers, artisans, and small businesses come together to showcase fresh produce, handmade goods, flowers, baked treats, and more.
The market is held every Saturday morning from May to October in and around Overman Park and is a wonderful opportunity to support local businesses while discovering new vegan-friendly products and ingredients. The market typically features fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, mushrooms, herbs, specialty foods and beverages, handcrafted items, and more.
After shopping, we'll take a short walk downtown to Cup of Joe, one of Cedar Falls' most beloved locally-owned coffee shops. Known for its fun retro atmosphere, fair-trade organic coffee, house-made pastries, and vegan options, it's the perfect place to relax, continue conversations, and get to know fellow members of the Cedar Valley Plant-Based Community.
Whether you're fully plant-based, vegan, vegetarian, vegan-curious, or simply looking to meet kind people while supporting local businesses, we'd love to have you join us!

- 🛍️ 9:00-10:15am Hangout at Cedar Falls Farmers Market (Overman Park, 316 W 3rd St, Cedar Falls). Browse local vendors together while shopping for fresh produce, vegan-friendly foods (like Moo's Bakery), fresh flowers, artisan products, baked goods, handmade gifts, and seasonal treats.
- ☕ 10:30am-12:00pm Brunch at Cup of Joe (102 Main St, Cedar Falls). Enjoy coffee, tea, or one of Cup of Joe's vegan-friendly food and beverage options while spending time with fellow community members.
Who's Welcome?
Everyone! Whether you've been vegan for years, are simply interested in eating more plant-based foods, or want to meet friendly people in the Cedar Valley, you're invited to join us. Come for part of the morning or stay for both stops.
